Covid–19 Statement from CIS

“CIS are closely monitoring the rapidly developing situation with COVID-19. CIS priority during this uncharted time is the health, safety, and well-being of our team and their families, our clients, our colleagues, and our communities.

CIS ensures the continuity of supply chain operations, important to critical infrastructure activities related to safety, transportation, power and energy, water treatment and food and pharmaceutical production through the production, operation and support of automated procurement systems and software.

While we remain open for business, we are operating extreme caution and employing recommended safety measures. Wherever possible our staff will be working remotely, and we will be operating at all branches and limiting exposure. During this period of uncertainty, we will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and alter our plans when necessary.

We continue to be available for our customers and suppliers, currently our supply chain remains unaffected.

To actively support measures to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus and protect our customer’s business operations, we have taken measures:

  • Guided by NHS and WHO, procedures have been implemented to control the spread of the virus.
  • Departmental system critical services are now available remotely.
  • Reduction in social activity has been implemented internally, and externally.
  • Only necessary visits and physical meetings are taking place.
  • Increased stock levels within vending solutions, and branches and central stores.
  • Implementation of stock monitoring systems for any change in requirement.

Our sincere gratitude to those on the front lines confronting this public health emergency. We know every one of our customers and suppliers will be challenged in the times ahead. There is no under estimation of the challenge at this time and seemingly there will be no quick fix.”
